Digital Art Trials

As much as traditional art techniques are necessary as the foundation for creating good art and design...nothing beats a hand drawn image...every artist should continue to experiment and grow.  Learning to use new tools, such as digital tools, is a good exercise for staying as creative as you can be.  Not being able to use a tool or technique should not stop you from creating what you can envision.  So, I've been learning and experimenting with some digital programs.  Recent current events have given me cause to quickly express and produce images.  Here are examples of digital art I created based on some famous people in the news recently, Gary Carter, Jeremy Lin and Whitney Houston.
